At IPC, we built IPC Cares.

IPC Cares brings together the various efforts we make towards enhancing the communities within which we operate. By adopting causes that are close to our hearts, we keep ourselves committed and accountable.

Last year alone, we supported the aid efforts of the Fort McMurray fires, palliative care through The Healing Cycle Foundation and women and children through The Salvation Army.

Perhaps the most significant effort we undertake, and one that we believe is representative of the kind of work that inspires and keeps us committed to our CSR efforts, is the community development project in Honduras with The Carpenteros & Friends. Last year’s project involved a group of IPC staff and Advisors volunteering their time and energy on the ground. Very little is as inspiring and rewarding as living the lives of the people you’re helping.  

Every one of the people who took the journey came back not only a changed person, but even more determined to stay committed to making a difference in the world!

We have also made countless small, but significant contributions of our time and resources within our communities through many grassroots charities we believe in. The ripple effect of those efforts is always rewarding.

I care about people who need assistance and support while getting back on their feet. I support Siloam Mission through food and clothing donations as well as financial support.

I have been involved with Adoption options for the past 15 years. There is nothing better than seeing peoples' dreams become a reality. I also attend and involve myself with their annual fund-raising dinner. 

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. I love delivering Christmas Hampers to Winnipeg's most in need. Every child should feel the excitement of having gifts to open Christmas morning and enjoy time together over a Christmas meal. 

Leprosy is one of the oldest diseases in the world. Every person is precious, and every person belongs, and Effect Hope work within hard-to-reach and marginalized communities to make that a reality. I support Effect Hope as they not on;y assist in curing people with leprosy, they train people locally, breaking the chains and stigma of leprosy.

I have been sponsoring children through World Vision for the last 15 years. I take pride in being able to change someone’s future. I enjoy giving children the opportunity to go to school, support their community, and help their families with a better future.

I volunteer at Hot Lunch School Programs, serving energetic children a nutritious meal and giving teachers a well-deserved break.
